Where virtual try-on struggles

TryOnAnytime
Honest limits: lighting, pose, sheer fabrics, busy patterns, camera permissions, and why try-on is a fit check — not a tape measure.
Virtual try-on is useful when it is honest about failure modes.
Photos & garments
- Soft or uneven lighting, extreme poses, and occlusions (hands, bags, hair) can warp silhouettes.
- Sheer, shiny, or heavily patterned fabrics are harder to composite cleanly.
- Cropped or low-resolution garment shots reduce detail on seams and logos.
Live camera
- Needs a modern browser over HTTPS and a working front camera.
- If the browser remembers a denied permission, only site settings can re-enable it — we surface that empty state in the studio.
- Unstable networks may interrupt live segments; photo try-on remains available.
Fit expectations
We help you see an outfit on your body. We do not replace a tape measure or brand-specific size charts. Use try-on together with the store’s size guide.
