Virtual try-on for Shopify product pages
Paste one script in the theme editor today, or install the Theme App Extension scaffold from this repo. The Try on button floats on the product image by default. Merchants buy credits on tryonanytime.com — we do not use Shopify Billing.
<!-- TryOnAnytime — get pk_ at https://tryonanytime.com/settings/embed --> <!-- Shopify Online Store 2.0 — paste in a Custom Liquid block (script can live anywhere; overlay finds the product media) --> <!-- optional: float the button on the product image instead of in place --> <!-- data-tryon-attach="image" --> <!-- data-tryon-image=".product__media img, .wp-post-image" --> <!-- data-tryon-position="bottom-right" (bottom-left|top-right|top-left) --> <script src="https://tryonanytime.com/embed.js" data-tryon-key="pk_…" data-tryon-garment="https://your-shop.com/product.jpg" data-tryon-label="Try it on" data-tryon-attach="image" data-tryon-image=".product__media img, .woocommerce-product-gallery__image img" async></script>
Status: Embed script works today. Theme App Extension scaffold ships in packages/shopify-app — not listed on the Shopify App Store yet.
For merchants. Shoppers who want try-on on any website should use the Chrome extension instead.
Credits are purchased on tryonanytime.com (Settings → Credits / Pricing). This integration does not use the Shopify Billing API and never charges the merchant’s Shopify account.
Install steps
- 01
Create a publishable key
In Settings → Embed, create a pk_ key and allowlist your *.myshopify.com storefront domain (and custom domain if you use one).
- 02
Buy credits on tryonanytime.com
Top up under Settings → Credits or /pricing. Shopify will not bill you for try-ons.
- 03
Paste the snippet or add the app block
Theme editor → product template → add the Try on app block (or Custom Liquid). Overlay on the product media is the default; the block's placement setting switches it to in place. Point data-tryon-garment at the product image URL.
- 04
Preview and publish
Open a product page — the chip should float on a corner of the product image. Tap Try it on, confirm the domain allowlist, then publish the theme.
Turn your store into a fitting room
One script tag on your product pages. Shoppers tap, upload a photo and see the item on themselves — no plugin, no backend work.
